Date is a very nutritious fruit that is packed with an array of mineral including iron, potassium, zinc, magnesium, and vitamin A, B and E. Studies have shown that dates prevent many cancers including colon and gastric cancers, etc.  Among benefits of dates is their natural laxative properties. This cultivar of palm date known as Estameran and Sayer in different regions, constitutes about %70-%80 of palm groves in Khuzestan province of Iran. It has a very high trade value and is one of the major export products of this company to Europe.

  • Zaidi Dates:

They are classified as dry palm dates and considered as a semi-dry date variety in some regions.

  • Piarom (Sage) Dates:

This cultivar with low moisture content is classified as semi-dry and is among late fruit varieties.

100g of dry palm dates contain: energy: 300Cal; protein: 2g; fat: 6g; glucide: 73g, sulfur: 60mg, phosphor: 50mg; potassium: 650mg; magnesium: 65mg; calcium: 70mg; iron 2mg, niacin 2.2mg. They are low in sodium and Vitamin A.
